For the next episode of Showstoppers, we have a Marvel scene. Marvel movies are known for having scenes that hit you right in the feels and scenes that give you goosebumps. Today's scene was inspired by this shot here:
Cap's determination to defeat Thanos is palpable, and I love that we can see Thor's mouth opened in a battle cry. I love this scene because Cap was prepared to fight Thanos on his own, and the relief on his face that he had reinforcements is just *chef's kiss*
So, of course, I had to try my hand at writing the scene as I imagined it to be written.
Now, I'm not saying I'm anywhere close to Marvel Cinematic Universe writing, but I didn't do too terribly compared to the original script.
Now, I missed a few things. For example, this scene happens during the day, but it's hard to tell in the scene. I wasn't as sparse with my writing this time as I was for the Harry Potter scene, and the action lines in the original script are more direct, which I appreciate.
Overall, I didn't do too badly, and I'm excited to continue this series!
